I thought I was in the best shape of my life. Active, fit, busy, and then everything changed. A simple hike took me spiraling down the path of diagnosis and treatment for Lyme Disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Babesia. Unlike many others, I knew when my infection occurred, so I quickly began seeking treatment. Traditional medicine, which pointed me to repeated specialist visits and multiple rounds of oral and intravenous antibiotics, left me exhausted and without improvement.
